Fabrication and Characterization of Chitosan-Polyethylene Glycol (Ch-Peg) Based Hydrogels and Evaluation of Their Potency in Rat Skin Wound Model

Moisture content of prepared hydrogel mixtures. All hydrogels had a water content of more than 93%. This strongly shows that hydrogels are effective at donating water to wound sites and that the water content of hydrogels helps wound healing by keeping the environment wet.
