Effect of magnesium addition on the corrosion resistance of aluminum alloy in NaCl solution. Note: RRAg and AS-CASTg curves indicate the corrosion responses of heat-treated as-cast Al-Mg alloy specimens, respectively, in saline medium as evaluated through the gravimetric technique while RRAe and AS-CASTe curves illustrate the corrosion behaviors of heat-treated and as-cast Al-Mg alloy specimens, respectively, in saline environment as evaluated through the electrochemical polarization technique.
