Trypomastigote vacuole is enriched in AKT-PH-GFP that binds to posphatidylinositolbiphosphate (PtdIns(3,4)P2) and phosphatidylinositoltriphosphate (PtdIns(3,4,5)P3) that are products of PI3 Kinase (a–c) and also labeled to EEA1 and Rab 5 (d–f) and Lamp-1 (g–i). (a–c) rapid accumulation of PtdIns(3,4,5)P3/PtdIns (3,4)P2 at the T. cruzi invasion site.
