In vitro release testing of nCaCDDP using a modified USP Apparatus 4. Release was conducted in 10 mM PBS pH 7.4, 0.1% sodium azide at 37°C. The left axis is cumulative CDDP released with percent CDDP released on the right -axis. The formulation provides sustained delivery of CDDP for 2 days under these infinite sink conditions. After 2 days nCaCDDP released 74% of the total CDDP bound. At day 7, nCaCDDP released an average of 86% of the total CDDP bound.
