Cell Death
Description
This special issue is aimed at bringing together recent advances in the field of cell death. The biology of this process in healthy conditions as well as its aberrant regulation in pathological states is the main topic of the present issue. We therefore would like to invite authors to submit original research or review articles that explore cell death area under both physiological and pathological conditions. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
- Tissue homeostasis maintenance
- Cellular senescence and aging
- Different types of cell death (apoptosis, necroptosis, pyroptosis, and necrosis)
- Autophagy
- Dysregulation of cell death control
