Esterification of Oleic Acid for Biodiesel Production Using a Semibatch Atomization Apparatus

Predicted conversion vs. experimental conversion in the esterification reaction in the atomization apparatus under a temperature of 343 (K), a pressure of 100 kPa in the atomization nozzle, and an oleic acid flow rate of 1.3 g/min. The model was simulated using Kc and kd′ values obtained through correlations (equations (16) and (17)).
