Db is encoded by the same structured gene containing an additional 63-base insert in exon 3. The two alleles of PRH2 encode separate proteins, Pr1 and Pr2. The transcripts were obtained by inserting the gene name at http://www.genecards.org/ and then selecting for the transcript diagram at ensembl.org. The transcripts are modified to read 5′–3′ and annotated.
