Comparison of the mean force (N) load and unload deflection between the coated and regular Ni-Ti TP round 0.016′′ wires. There was a statistically significant decrease in the coated wire at 2 mm () and 3 mm () load deflection; for an unload deflection at 2 mm, a decrease () was observed, while, at 3 mm, an increase () was found compared to regular Ni-Ti wires.
