Delay Stochastic Evolution Equations and Their Applications
Call for Papers
Stochastic ordinary and partial differential equations arise naturally in the mathematical modeling of phenomena spanning disciplines in the social and natural sciences, engineering, and epidemiology. Much attention has been given to stochastic ordinary differential equations with finite delay in the literature over the past 35 years. However, the extension of this work to stochastic partial differential equations has only recently begun to appear in the literature. Moreover, most of the results in the literature for both stochastic ordinary and stochastic partial differential equations are formulated under the assumption of a finite delay.
We are particularly interested in articles that investigate abstract stochastic evolution equations in infinite dimensions or stochastic partial differential equations with delay. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
- Existence issues for abstract infinite dimensional stochastic evolution equations with infinite delay, unbounded delay, or state-dependent delay
- Stochastic partial differential equations with infinite or unbounded delay
- Delay stochastic differential equations driven by either a fractional Brownian motion or Levy process
- Delay backward stochastic evolution equations
- Qualitative properties, optimal control, and other controllability results for classes of equations of the type mentioned above
- Numerical schemes and approximation results for classes of equations of the type mentioned above
