Advanced Sensor Technology and Applications in Industrial Control System

Call for Papers

Industrial Control Systems (ICSs) are real-time process control systems that monitor and control local or geographically remote devices after getting information from many kinds of sensors. They are in wide use throughout a variety of industrial sectors and are a critical component of operations. The ICSs also provide a management way for important plant performance information to be obtained for use by managers and engineers at a corporate level. To manage ICS efficiently and effectively, we need to use advanced sensor technology and applications. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Sensors for embedded devices
  • Parallel and distributed design for sensor networks
  • Ad hoc networks
  • Communication protocols between sensors
  • Sensor network security
  • Monitoring distributed sensors
  • Intelligent sensors
  • Sensor-based control system
  • Sensor network modeling, processing, service, and applications
  • Hardware/software codesign
  • Energy management for sensors
  • Performance testing

Before submission authors should carefully read over the journal's Author Guidelines, which are located at http://www.hindawi.com/journals/ijdsn/guidelines/. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal Manuscript Tracking System at http://mts.hindawi.com/submit/journals/ijdsn/sta/ according to the following timetable:
