Beta-Arrestin 1 Mediates Liver Thyrotropin Regulation of Cholesterol Conversion Metabolism via the Akt-Dependent Pathway

<div><i>β</i>-Arrestin deficiencies lead to decreased cholesterol levels. Free and total cholesterol levels of liver tissues of <i>arrb1/2</i>-knockout (KO) mice (a, b) and <i>ARRB1/2</i>-knockdown (KD) HepG2 cells (c, d). Cholesterol levels were standardized by protein concentration and were expressed as mmol cholesterol per gram of protein.
