Not all plots in this land cover type fell within the plantation of interest, as some plantations neighbored other Eucalyptus plantations. Plots in this land cover type were both inside and outside the plantation of interest. This land cover type represents areas where Eucalyptus was originally planted, but where the survival was low enough that the sites were not managed with the rest of the plantation. Plots in this land cover type were outside of the plantation of interest.
