The Brazil nut concession ID, total area (ha) and number and density of Brazil nut trees, and the area (m2) and location (decimal degree) of the logging gaps (3 per concession) are included in this study. Paired understory sites were located a minimum of 50 m from the logging gap, but never more than 200 m.
