Plasma levels of Ang-(1–7), Ang-(1–9) and Ang II in rats with myocardial infarction treated with the ACE inhibitor enalapril (8 weeks). Increased plasma levels of Ang-(1–9) were observed in rats with myocardial infarction treated with the ACE inhibitor enalapril. Myocardial infarction was induced by coronary artery ligation.
