The figures (a and c) illustrate the luminescence of the structures when illuminated with p-polarized light (i.e., parallel to the long axis of the dimers). Figures (b and d) show the same results for s-polarized excitation light (perpendicular to the dimer axis). (𝐚_𝟏 to 𝐝_𝟏) Show luminescence images of a 10 × 10 𝝁m scanned area. The color scale gives the polarization state of the detected field.
