The resazurin decomposition test after (a) 0 min, (b) 2.5 min, (c) 5 min, (d) 7.5 min, (e) 12.5 min and (f) 20 min. As can be seen, the resazurin dye decomposes when UV illumination is applied which clearly indicates that the TiO₂ layer remained active and mechanically stable.
