Postprandial fullnessAn unpleasant sensation akin to the prolonged persistence of food in the stomach

Early satiationA feeling that the stomach is overfilled soon after starting to eat. This feeling is out of proportion to the size of the meal and results in the patient being unable to finish the meal

Epigastric painPain located between the umbilicus and sternum in the midline of the torso. The pain is a subjective and unpleasant feeling, but difficult to describe. Some patients may describe feelings of tissue damage or chest pain

Epigastric burningPain located in the epigastrium that has a burning quality, but does not radiate to the chest
