Aims and Scope

The International Journal of Power Management Electronics aims to serve the large society of researchers and professional engineers who deal with technology and science that define and demonstrate next-generation power electronics and advance the state of the art. Original papers reporting progress, advancement, and critical assessment on areas of power electronics encompassing components, systems, and networks are encouraged for submission.

The scope and coverage of the journal include but are not limited to:

  • Novel devices (e.g., wide-bandgap, photonic devices) and applied technology for power electronics
  • Power electronics and power-management controls for standalone and grid-connected alternative and renewable energy systems
  • Fuel-cell /hybrid-electric vehicle power converter designs for vehicular auxiliary and main power units
  • System-on-chip (SoC)/ system-in-package (SiP)/ and system-on-module (SoM) based power-management electronics
  • Novel thermal management solutions for power electronics
  • New loss-mitigating topologies and switching techniques
  • Novel solutions for high-frequency magnetics
  • Digital and smart power-management technology
  • New concepts and technology applications of power electronics in power systems, telecommunications, motor drives, low voltage applications (e.g., portable electronics, VRM)
  • Applications of power electronics for energy-scavenging and energy-harvesting technologies
  • Advanced modeling, analysis, and control approaches in power electronics
