Normalized intensities of the peak corresponding to the 4204 Da peptide in serum from healthy volunteers (), patients with benign biliary disease (), and BTC patients (). The peak intensity was significantly higher in sera obtained from patients with biliary tract cancer (BTC) compared with sera from healthy volunteers. There was no significant difference in intensity between BTC sera and benign biliary disease (BB) sera (Mann-Whitney U test).
