Aims and Scope

The overall aim of the International Journal of Plasma Science and Engineering is to create a forum for the publication of original and high quality research in the field of plasma physics and engineering. The journal focuses on bridging the gap between new concepts and theory to practical implementation, and welcomes unpublished manuscripts in any area of the physics of plasmas, including (but not limited to)

  • Basic plasma physics (theory and experiment)
  • Physics of nuclear fusion (inertial and magnetic confinement, etc)
  • Particle beams and advanced accelerator physics
  • Space physics and plasma astrophysics
  • Radiation generation by plasmas
  • Plasma diagnostics
  • Numerical methods and plasma simulations
  • Commercial applications (plasma displays, plasma etching, etc)
  • Novel applications of plasmas
