Resonance-Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy on Explosives Vapor at Standoff Distances

Figure 2

Resonant Raman signal from (a) NM at 232 nm excitation wavelength, concentration 32,500 ppm, (b) 2,4-DNT at 263 nm, concentration 1445 ppm, and (c) 2,4,6-TNT at 248 nm, concentration 341 ppm. All spectra are recorded during 1000 laser pulses, that is, 100 s, at a distance of 1.65 m. The TNT spectrum was recorded using a 248 nm long-pass filter, hence reducing the noise level.
