Effect of cytochalasin D and PMA on macrophage lipid accumulation. HMDM were incubated 24 h with 80 μg cholesterol/mL CRLPw/o or without CRLPw/o in the presence of 2 μg/mL cytochalasin D (CytD), or 1 μg/mL PMA both dissolved in DMSO or DMSO alone (control). Macrophage triacylglycerol (TG) and total cholesterol (TCH) content (nmol lipid/mg protein) were determined by fluorimetric assay (mean ± SD, n = 4).
