Systolic blood velocity. High-resolution ultrasound (HRUS) was used to measure blood flow velocities in the lumenal center of the abdominal region of the aorta in 3–5 animals from each group. Shown is a quantification of the results. Note that the hSTAT3-treated, the hIL-10-treated, and the hSTAT3-plus-hIL-10-treated animals all had significantly lower blood velocity than the AAV/Neo animals.
