Proliferation and migration characteristics of SMC and endothelial cells from patients with aortic aneurysm with either tricuspid aortic valve (TAV, ) or bicuspid aortic valve (BAV, ) and controls (C, ). The cells were seeded at an equal density and counted each two days for proliferation assay. The migration was estimated via scratch-assay (see Section 2).
