Cyclin A2 Protein Overexpression Is Not Caused by Gene Amplification in Colon Cancer

A paraffin section from breast cancer case 4 was hybridized with a red labeled cyclin A2 probe and a green labeled probe for centromere 2 as described in Section 2. The tumour cell nuclei contain 2–6 cyclin A2 signals and 4–6 centromere signals indicating a polysomy of chromosome 4 but no gain of CCNA2.
