Forward simulation results followed by the optimization process on experimental data. The thick green line is the raw data (total composite strain) from the extensometer, and the red dots are processed experimental data after removing strain relaxation effect from the green line and synchronizing data points with FEM database. The blue line (ANN forward simulation) was fitted by the automatic optimizer to find the best fitting parameter of (yield strength of W-fiber). The observed yield point (~600 MPa) appears much lower than the optimized yield strength (1258 MPa) due to the thermal residual stress effect (“compressive” in W and “tensile” in BMG).
