Effect of GT3-PTX on bone marrow cellularity. Bone marrow nucleated cells harvested from femurs (𝑛=6) at days 1, 4, and 7 after 8 Gy TBI from one of the following groups: vehicle, 100 mg/kg PTX, 200 mg/kg GT3, 200 mg/kg GT3 plus 100 mg/kg PTX. Corresponding unirradiated controls were also included in the experiment. GT3-PTX combination shows significantly higher bone marrow cellularity (^∗𝑃=0.03) compared to GT3 alone group at day 7 post-TBI.
