Energy density 𝑇⁰⁰ computed with conformal gravity and the Hartle shaping function. Parameters used are 𝑅=1, 𝑚=4, 𝛼_𝑔=1, 𝑡=0, and variable 𝑣_𝑠=0.25𝑐−3.00𝑐. The energy density becomes in part negative for 𝑣_𝑠≳2.50𝑐, so the WEC is verified for speeds up to about 𝑣_𝑠≃2.50𝑐.
