DLK1 protein expression in the developing liver. ((A)–(I)) They show sections of ED10, ED12, -13, -14, -15, -16, -17, 18, and D2 livers, respectively, with gradually decreasing DLK1 protein expression. After ED16, an increasing portion of the hepatocytes becomes rapidly negative for DLK1 staining, with completely absent staining on D2.
