Immobilization of <i>Aspergillus oryzae</i>  <i>β</i>-Galactosidase on Cellulose Acetate-Polymethylmethacrylate Membrane and Its Application in Hydrolysis of Lactose from Milk and Whey

<div>Reusability of CA-PMMA bound <i>β</i>-galactosidase. Reusability of immobilized <i>β</i>-galactosidase was monitored for 6 successive days. The preparation was taken in triplicates and was assayed for remaining percent activity. Activity determined on the first day was taken as control (100%) for calculation of remaining activity after each use.</div>
