Immobilization of <i>Aspergillus oryzae</i>  <i>β</i>-Galactosidase on Cellulose Acetate-Polymethylmethacrylate Membrane and Its Application in Hydrolysis of Lactose from Milk and Whey

<div>Storage stability of soluble and CA-PMMA bound <i>β</i>-galactosidase. Soluble and CA-PMMA bound <i>β</i>-galactosidase was stored in 100 mM sodium acetate buffer pH 4.5 at 4°C for 6 weeks. The aliquots from each preparation (20 <i>μ</i>L) were taken in triplicates at the gap of 1 week and were then analyzed for the remaining enzyme activity.</div>
