Cyclin D1 mRNA and protein expression in ASM cells from asthmatics were relatively resistant to inhibition by dexamethasone. ASM cells from asthmatics were pretreated for 1 h with vehicle or dexamethasone and then stimulated with 25 ng/mL PDGF-BB.
