Comparison of project MINA sample of Bangladeshi mothers and daughters with Bangladeshi women in the same age groups as surveyed in Health Survey for England (HSE) 2004. Values for height, weight, and BMI are the mean ± standard deviation. Sample size in HSE 2004 varied depending on measurement made. The range of sample size values is given in the table, but t-tests were calculated with exact sample sizes.
