Fluorescence of phytochrome in the Pr form in stems of etiolated pea seedlings. Emission spectra were taken under monochromatic excitation at nm, excitation spectra, for emission at nm at 77 K and 200 K. Excitation spectrum with the maximum at 375 nm was calculated in the region 350–500 nm with due consideration of green background fluorescence with excitation maximum at 420 nm.
