Thus, we find that combining left and right, the shape comparisons LM (LM-Left and Right) yields 20 HR classified as CTRL versus 2 HR classified as MDD–-strong statistical evidence that HR is more like CTRL than MDD in hippocampus shape space. (This analysis is based on 22 HR subjects, 33 MDD subjects, and 59 CTRL subjects. Thus, e.g., the two HR numbers, H : CvM and H : MvC, should sum to 22.
