The N-terminal amino acid residue for each region is shown underneath nf T m . Yellow color represents the region(s) deleted in the respective mutants. ▵ 2 3 T m was previously studied [13, 14] and is included here for the sake of comparison. nf T m is the full-length protein and was used as a control. The N-terminus of ▵ 2 3 T m has the Ala-Ser substitution, whereas the N-termini of ▵ 2 T m , ▵ 3 T m , and nf T m do not have this substitution.
