Plot of intensity fluctuations of a reaction zone as a function of the applied voltage pulse width. With +2.7 kV applied voltage and increasing pulse width, the CH (A-X) chemiluminescence intensity fluctuation becomes increasingly larger suggesting that reaction zones become more mobile, indicating a transition from laminar flow to turbulence.
