Overlay images of pancreatic islets of six-week-old Wistar (a) and Goto-Kakizaki (b) rats “G.” Only a fine granular SST positivity was observed in Wistar controls, whereas, in GK rats, individual or small groups of cells with irregular rough and dense SST positivity could be recorded.
