Maintenance of body weight. Body weight in control (●), type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM) (▽), and CmNo1-treated DM (CmNo1-DM) (■) mice was examined. Mice were first exposed to high-fat diet (HFD) for six months to induce C57BL/6J mice with type 2 DM, which were then treated with CmNo1 for eight weeks. The body weight of all three groups was recorded to note any significant change. Data is expressed as the means ± SEM (/group).
