Development of Diagnostic Biomarkers for Detecting Diabetic Retinopathy at Early Stages Using Quantitative Proteomics

Detection of endogenous light peptide levels in pooled plasma. The endogenous light peptide levels in pooled plasma were measured by analyzing TEST sample #1, which was composed of endogenous light peptides (pooled digested plasma, 1 μg/μL) and heavy peptides (50 fmol of the heavy peptide mixture). From this analysis, low (APLP2, B3GNT1, CD14, and KRT1), middle (C5, C7, FN1, GSN, ITIH2, and SERPINF1), and high (APOA4, APOH, C4B, CLU, and VTN) concentration ranges of proteins were confirmed.
