Renoprotective Effect of the Shen-Yan-Fang-Shuai Formula by Inhibiting TNF-α/NF-κB Signaling Pathway in Diabetic Rats

SYFSF inhibited the expression of inflammatory cytokine in high-glucose-treated mesangial cells. High glucose induced upregulation of MCP-1 and TNF-α which were suppressed by SYFSF serum in mesangial cells. There was no obvious change of NF-κBp65 expression. HG + S represents the mesangial cells treated with high-glucose medium and serum from rats treated with SYFSF. HG + I represents the mesangial cells treated with high-glucose medium and serum from rats treated with irbesartan.
