The 𝐴_th ((A − th²)/(th − th²)) where A is the area under the Pd-log (𝑃_fa) curve and th is the threshold (i.e., the maximum false alarm rate) results of the IRBTA algorithm for V1 in the RIT test image are shown in the first two lines. The maximum false alarm rate is 10⁻³; other parameters are as given in Table 6. The third and fourth lines represent the same results normalized by dividing the value of the 3 × 3 filter by the values of the other filters.
