Clinical Study

The Desmoplastic Stroma Plays an Essential Role in the Accumulation and Modulation of Infiltrated Immune Cells in Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma

Figure 6

The expression levels of dendritic cell and macrophage markers might predict the PDAC patient survival. The PDAC patients were divided into three groups based on their survival time after tumor resection (less than one year ( ), between 1 and 2 years ( ), and more than two years ( )). The gene expressions of CD1c (a), CD303 (b), CD208 (c), CD209 (d), CD163 (e), and CD68 (f) were compared between each group. The patients were also divided into two groups based on if the main expression of macrophage markers was CD68 ( ) or CD163 ( ) (g). Log-rank (Mantel Cox) test was used for calculation of value. * , ** , *** .
