Addition of neutralizing anti-PD-1 antibodies in 3-day MLC stimulated with healthy donor and TB patient DCs was accompanied by decrease in CD3⁺CD4⁺ and CD3⁺CD8⁺ T-cell apoptosis. The number of apoptotic CD3⁺CD4⁺ (M ± S.E.) (a) and CD3⁺CD8⁺ (b) T-cells was determined in allo-MLC stimulated with healthy donor and TB patient DCs in the absence and presence of anti-PD-1 antibodies (5 μg/mL).
