The forms of ligands to activate TACI. Both the BAFF 60-mers and multimerized APRIL are able to activate TACI; however, BAFF trimers and APRIL trimers cannot activate TACI. Because at least two TRAF trimers need to associate six TACIs to activate the classical NF-κB pathway.
