Secretion of cytokines by macrophages treated with AETC or METC. Murine macrophage J774 cells were treated at the doses of 100, 200, and 500 μg/ml of AETC or METC for 24 hours at 37°C. The levels of cytokines (a) IFN-γ, (b) TNF-α, and (c) IL-1β were determined in the supernatants by ELISA.
