CD80 Expressed by CD8<sup>+</sup> T Cells Contributes to PD-L1-Induced Apoptosis of Activated CD8<sup>+</sup> T Cells

<div>CD80-KO CD8<sup>+</sup> T cells survive better than WT CD8<sup>+</sup> T cells when cultured with PD-L1/Fc. ConA-activated WT and CD80-KO CD8+ cells were cultured with anti-CD3 and either recombinant mouse PD-L1/Fc or control/Fc for 48 hours, then harvested for analysis.
