Flow cytometry forward and side scatter gating strategy for immune cells. Whole blood samples were assessed for 10-marker flow cytometry analysis. The total cell population was identified using forward and scattered gating after the exclusion of doublets and debris. The following markers were assessed to determine cell populations, according to marker expression listed in Table 1: CD45, CD3, CD4, CD8, CD49b, B220, NKp45, Ly6G, TCRγδ, and 7-AAD.
