An Aloe-Based Composition Constituting Polysaccharides and Polyphenols Protected Mice against D-Galactose-Induced Immunosenescence

Effect of UP360 on immune cell expansion in immunized mice. Mice (n = 10) were injected with D-galactose at 500 mg/kg subcutaneously daily for 9 weeks to induce accelerated aging. Mice were treated with two doses of UP360 (200 or 400 mg/kg) orally, starting at week 5 and immunized at the end of week 7 (start of week 8) with 3 μg of Fluarix quadrivalent vaccine. Necropsy was carried out 14 days after vaccination at the end of week 9. Flow cytometry data are reported as mean ± SD.
