Under high dose (25 mM) treatment of glucose (mimic hyperglycemia), mouse T hybridoma 10I cells underwent apoptosis were detected by 4′,6-diamidino-2-phenylindole (DAPI) nuclear staing. Fluorescein isothiocyanate-conjugated ceramide monoclonal IgM was used to detect ceramide generated in response to hyperglycemia.
